Byron walked me through the tractor options for our Farm, we originally looked at the 1-family series as a solution, but after seeing what the new 2-family could do, it was clear that was what we needed. We went full-monty on the attachments, we needed the tractor to do a whole host of 'real Farm' chores during our various seasons of use (from planting in spring to maintenance in summer to tree sales in Fall to snow clearing in winter). Over the past 3 months since purchasing the tractor, I have communicated with Byron on email, text, and phone directly AT LEAST 2 dozen times. EBay determines this price through a machine-learned model of the product's sale prices within the last 90 days. I have texted him with urgent questions (eg, How do I disconnect this or that, how do I get the tractor to do this or that, I'm stuck in the mud, how do I get out, etc.) at all sorts of times, including weekends as well as weekdays, and EVERY TIME (even on Sundays) he has gotten back to me within MINUTES. When my post-hole digger was delivered and I was having trouble getting it attached, he sent out Chris (from the service department) the very same day to help me get things figured out. I cannot say enough about Byrons responsiveness as Ive worked through this major purchase and learning curve. I recently placed an order for a John Deere 44 inch snow blower designed to mount on my D130 tractor that had been purchased several years earlier. I was told that the snow blower would still fit on my tractor. The snow blower arrived in a self-contained crate that included everything needed to mount the snow blower with the exception of an owner/assembly manual. A manual was ordered. ![]() The manual that arrived about a week later turned out to be an X300 series manual. My frustration level began to rise when I was told it would be another week or so to get the correct manual, and after making an inquiry, a PDF file did not seem to be available. Having worked at MIT for a number of years in a graduate engineering program, most of our documents have transitioned to electronic form.
